Start with building use
For a hall, warehouse or commercial space, enclosure selection starts with use. Profiled sheets form a covering or cladding, whereas insulated panels include an insulating core between metal faces. Building requirements determine whether insulation is needed and what type.
Thermal, moisture, acoustic and fire requirements must be checked against the design and the actual product documentation.
Options in the BILKA range
The catalogue includes profiled sheets from T8 to T200 plus Sinus 18. Insulated panels are presented with mineral wool or PIR/PUR cores, in wall and roof configurations. Product names alone are insufficient for structural sizing.
The designer specifies profile, thickness, spans and connections. Galvanized sections and structural trays are selected in the same context.
Preparing an enquiry
Send drawings, sections, quantities, dimensions and location. State whether you need materials or an installation discussion too. If the design is incomplete, list known requirements and matters to be checked.
The quotation should identify panel or sheet configuration, colour, accessories and fixings, delivery and lead time. Load capacity and compatibility cannot be inferred from a website illustration.
