Compare more than thickness
Nominal thickness matters, but does not describe a roof on its own. Profile shape, effective width, steel, zinc coating and finish should be considered together. Check the model technical sheet rather than applying one rule to the whole brand.
Metal tile models, Retro panels and industrial profiles have different requirements and applications. Select thickness for the actual system and project.
What belongs in the quotation
The quotation should identify exact model, nominal thickness, finish, colour and lengths. Check whether pricing uses total or effective area. Ask for accessories and membranes too; an incomplete configuration can defer substantial costs.
Where product variants or warranty exceptions exist, confirm the certificate applicable to your order. Finish warranty and installation warranty are separate.
Selection for your roof
For a home in Craiova or Dolj, start with geometry and the supporting structure. For an industrial building, use the section and thickness specified in the design, including fastening requirements and spans.
